Serenity Hospice Care?
We make it easy to focus on what matters.
When it’s time for hospice for you or a loved one, you shouldn’t have to spend that time on the phone coordinating care or searching everywhere for answers. Our team approach to hospice care means we can take care of all that—so you can focus on spending time with loved ones and making each day precious.
It starts with a caring conversation
A patient, family member or primary caregiver can call us at any time, with or without a referral from a doctor. We have an experienced team standing by to listen to your needs and answer any questions you have regarding hospice care. Contacting us does not obligate you to go forward with hospice care in any way.
We consult with the primary physician.
With permission, we contact the patient’s physician to discuss the possibility and timing of hospice care. Our medical team works with the physician to develop a plan of care that addresses the patient’s individual needs and ensures that the experience is tailored to you and your loved ones.
You can focus on what matters.
The Serenity team makes this transition as easy as possible — so you can focus on what really matters. Hospice care can generally begin the same day we receive an order from the patient’s physician. In some situations this can be within hours of your call.

About Serenity Hospice Care
Serenity Hospice Care will provide hope to patients by helping them transition successfully when the focus of care must change from cure to comfort. Our experienced team will empower patients and families by emphasizing the treatment of the person and not the disease. Serenity will be a source of strength and expertise, providing uniquely tailored services for the mind, body and spirit
Leveraging our diverse and extensive hospice background, and building upon our reputation for patient-centered care, Serenity Hospice Care will create a new standard for comfort-caregiving excellence in Kansas. Serenity will be a mirror of the Kansas communities we serve—truthful, responsive, sincere, reliable, innovative and hard-working. Serenity Hospice Care will harness technology to bring about the best clinical outcomes, never forgetting that the most powerful resource at our disposal is the compassion and dignity that only a caring person can give to another.
Let us take care of everything.
The word "hospice" was once used to describe a place of refuge for people on a difficult journey. Our excellent care and deep compassion for patients and families offer a place of comfort on the end-of-life journey. Recognizing that in hospice care, the main guardians are the family caregiver and the hospice team, care is most often provided in the home setting rather than in hospitals and hospice care facilities. The Serenity Hospice Care team will support the patient and family wherever they are.
