A Wichita native and Fellow of the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Kahrs graduated with a B.A. from Wichita State University in 1984. He attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine followed by a residency in Family Medicine in Milwaukee Wisconsin at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Dr. Kahrs joined the United States Air Force in 2003 to assist in the middle-east conflict. Now back in private practice, Dr. Kahrs emphasizes a full range of office-based family medicine from infants to seniors.
Dr. Kahrs provides medical direction to the Serenity Hospice Care team of clinicians, offering a special kind of caring that encompasses the medical, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of treatment.
Dr. Duncan earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan., and his DO from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He conducted his internship in family medicine at Minnesota State University — Mankato and his residency at Travis Air Force Base in California. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Duncan was the active duty Air Force staff primary care physician for more than 1,600 patients at McConnell Air Force Base. He also worked as an independent contractor for Critical Access Hospitals in Kansas — Docs Who Care — providing emergency room coverage, inpatient services and outpatient medicine. He maintains an active role in the Kansas Air National Guard.
Dr. Duncan recognizes that not all pain is physical; he values the interdisciplinary team’s role in developing a comprehensive plan of care that best addresses the needs of the patient and the family.
